We encourage you to think through stories, traditions, arts, media, mediums, lessons for elementary, middle years and secondary workshops, that contribute to the themes of connection, compassion and community in classrooms, communities and in our world. As part of our efforts to ensure LBTQ2+ and BIPOC communities are included in our conversations about art education, we would like to extend an invitation and encourage proposals that contribute to a lens of equity and diversity. Proposals that include accessible consideration will be prioritized. If there is any way we can support you in these proposals please let us know.
Sessions will be scheduled in 75 minute modules on Friday and 2 hr modules on Saturday. The focus of the Saturday workshops will be hands on studio based only. Studio workshops are also encouraged on Friday.
